- Verdant Kodama increases the cost of locations by

1, but this won't be displayed either on the location card in play or on cards in hand.
- The cost adjustment ability can be disadvantageous to yourself if you haven't played your location before Verdant Kodama, or if you need to replay the location after the opponent removes it.
- Verdant Kodama requires a monocolor location to be in play to get the most out of it: Dark for Touch of Death, Light for self healing, or Grey for Second Life.
