Who's NightWind?
NightWind is a software engineer responsible for the design and implemenation of various CMC projects (see below). The motivations being either a personal challenge to learn a new programming language, to fulfill a special request or sometimes just for personal convenience.
NightWind's CMC Projects
NightWind's CMC Card Searcher
Allows the searching of cards by expansion, card type, entity type, mana and sac values and card text amongst other things. Now also includes integrated store searcher results.
NightWind's Store Searcher
Allows you to search for cards that are selling in personal stores. E.g. Search for all slimes card sold.Results include the seller's name, price and quantity. The cheapest offers are listed first. The store searcher has recently been fully integrated into NightWind's CMC Card Searcher
NightWind's CMC Avatar Previewer
Allows you to test out CMC avatar parts prior to spending your points on them.
NightWind's Deck List Generator
By pasting the html of a deck list page, a simple list of cards and their quantity is generated, making the deck list suitable for record keeping or posting on forums. It saves space because it removes the images and cardbox layout.
The current list of projects are all fully functional and if there are any newly discovered bugs, problems or issues, NightWind will be happy to fix them (if time permits). According to NightWind's current situation, NightWind does not plan to further develop any of the projects unless there is a very good reason to. However, NightWind will continue to maintain them.
More About NightWind
An interesting note is that NightWind is actually two people sharing the same CMC and forum accounts. Night being male and Wind being female. It is not sure whether they are just friends, lovers or brother and sister. NightWind intends for this to remain a secret however. NightWind did use to be available to play CMC, though because of NightWind's recent relocation, playing CMC without suffering a timeout is rather hard. Thus, NightWind just tends to lurk around the CMC forums whilst recollecting on fond CMC memories. NightWind is also goes by the name of FireLink on other forums. NightWind currently has the 5th highest post count on the forums.
