Card Details

  • Card art was done by shadowhunter.
  • For most decks, a dizzier spell would more effective, in completely cancelling an attack. It would also have other utility, such as being usable to prevent abilities and blocking etc, which Targeting Malfunction cannot.
  • Targeting Malfunction's strength comes in decks where you want a certain monster to block the attack, such as The Unspoken, Mount Mason, or a monster that takes no combat damage, as some examples.
  • It can also be used on your own attacking monsters in response to the opponent casting a spell or using an ability. Most of the time the opponent could simply reassign their defender anyway, but if they dizzy from their ability then this could be advantageous.
