Card Details
- If you have an empty effect slot and some life to spare, this makes a cheap alternative to Kerpow.
- Despite the damage it deals to you, Sword Bomb is an excellent direct damage effect. 50 damage for 3 mana is very cheap, and if you can manage a bit of life on your part, it's a very good deal.
- It will damage the opponent before it damages you. Thus, you can use this to win against an opponent with under 50 life, even if you have less than 25.
- Since its self-destruction, and your own life loss are parts of its ability rather than a failure cost, if countered it will only be dizzied.
