Card Details
- Slimeborg's stats are far below what you would expect of a
3
3 monster. Its strength comes with its ability to increase its attack to whatever level is necessary for the scenario at a relevant cost, and in its dual synergies.
- Slimeborg is frequently used with a field of five generator effects, to gain 15 attack per ability use. However, the attack gain can be increased by the likes of Jack 'o' All Trades and animated generators.
- If you have an abundance of
and
in the mid or late game, Slimeborg can be the perfect monster for it. It can be powered up to be able to take down a large opposing monster or take a sizeable chunk of the opponent's health away.
- If the opponent attacks it when first played to eliminate the potential threat, you won't have got around to spending the extra mana on increasing its attack, unlike an expensive and initially powerful monster.
- By the above, if you have abundant
and
, it can be worth playing multiple Slimeborgs in one turn. If the opponent can't destroy them all during their turn, then you can simply power up the survivor for your attack. Other remaining Slimeborgs can either be used to flank or sacrificed to recoup extra mana for the main Slimeborg.
