Rules

  • 1) You must be registered on the forums with your CMC account name listed.
  • 2) Matches are best 2 of 3.
  • 3) You must have at least 30 cards in your deck.
  • 4) Cards from the Trophy, Donation, Hammer or Event card expansions, along with cards unreleased at the time of this post, are banned.
  • 5) You may have no more than 5 of any card in your deck, by name, except for basic generators.
  • 6) If you have more than 88 cards in your deck, the number 5 is replaced by 8 in rule 5.
  • 7) You may not change or modify your deck during a match with the same opponent.
  • 8) Any card that has a counterspell effect may not be played, since such cards break continuity.
  • 9) During any turn, you may bring up to one more non-token monster into play than your opponent did on their previous turn.
  • 10) If your Cards Field is full, any card on your Cards Field with the number 8 anywhere on it is granted Spell Shield.
  • 11) If your Cards Field has exactly 8 mono-grey cards on it, those cards are granted Ability Shield.
  • 12) If your Cards Field has exactly 8 mono-light cards on it, your opponent may not take any action during their defense phase.
  • 13) If your Cards Field has exactly 8 mono-dark cards on it, your opponent may not take any action during their attack phase.
  • 14) Once per game, you may shout "TO INFINITY, AND BEYOND!" to endow all your monsters currently on the Cards Field with Invisible Attack for your next attack phase. On the following Sacrifice Phase, you must sacrifice every monster left on the Cards Field that attacked during the Invisible Attack effect.
  • 15) Once per match, you may shout "SCREW THE RULES, I HAVE MONEY!" to nullify one non-blue rule once for one full turn. This must be declared directly prior to breaking the rule.
  • 16) A location may not be changed until 8 Draw Phases have passed with that location.
  • 17) When a card with the word "diamond" in its name is destroyed, both players must skip through their next playable turn via the Next button.
  • 18) If you lose a game, you may invalidate a rule that isn't blue for the remainder of the match.
  • 19) If the first game of your match takes place on Monday (Japan Time), players may not play any cards during the first three turns of each game in their match.
  • 20) Cards on each row of both the Cards Field and Mods Field must ascend in total mana cost from left to right as they are seen when brought into play. Same cost cards may be played next to each other.
  • 21) If you have 8 cards in your hand, your opponent may not sacrifice entities.
  • 22) Monsters that always come with Second Life are to be treated as if they also have Entrenching.
  • 23) If your opponent has fewer than 8 cards in their graveyard, you may not force them to draw any cards.
  • 24) You may not attack during your 8th Attack Phase.
  • 25) Your actions must not destroy Endless.
