Card Details
- Sometimes used as a 'filler' card in a deck - it costs no mana and replaces itself, causing no loss of card advantage.
- Can work well against decks that use graveyard synergies, or the likes of Miracle or Doctor Bakuga.
- You could end up receiving cards which are useless outside of the opponent's deck theme, or cost too much of a color you aren't generating.
- If the opponent uses Recycling on themself, it will be the only card in their graveyard, making it near guaranteed that you will steal it. This could ruin their deck strategy if it relies on reusing the same few Recyclings repeatedly.
- As you aren't actually drawing the card that you take, there is no synergy with the likes of Forest of Light or Holy Wordbringer.
- It does still combo well with Messengite Mural, however.
