Rust Dragon Lord combos extremely well with regular Rust Dragons, as the Rust Dragon has to destroy an effect every turn to prevent it from being destroyed.
As well as destroying your own effects, destroying the opponent's can make Rust Dragon Lord incredibly powerful. Cheap destruction such as Overload or TTE, or mass destruction such as Server Crash, can do this particularly well.
