Card Details
- The voucher code from masamunemaniac's Shigatsunobaka 2007 scavenger hunt, once redeemed, gives the player the related Front type avatar part: Kuronekomata.
- Card art was done by masamunemaniac.
- When using Nekomata Magus' ability a monster from your deck is topdecked and then put into your graveyard. A token copy of that monster is put into play with the Unstable status effect and the additional monster type puppet, and you lose health equal to the monster's casting cost x7.
- If the ability fails due to there being no monsters in the deck, Nekomata Magus will be dizzied and the topmost card will be milled. If it fails for any other reason, Nekomata Magus will be dizzied but no card will be milled.
- Nekomata Magus cannot bring out a second copy of a unique monster - if it tries to, the ability will simply fail.
- While Nekomata Magus' ability for the most part calls a 'random' monster, if you've revealed the bottommost monster of your deck with a card such as PR-34 Probebot, you can tell exactly which monster will be created.

- May 2nd, 2008: Ability changed to cost 7 health per mana on use instead of 10 health per mana.
- May 12th, 2011: Card changed to add the monster type puppet to monsters created by it.
- Apr 17th, 2012: Monster type changed to cat youkai mage from cat demon mage.
