Card Details
- The Melrak Assassin has stats befitting of a 5 mana monster. For the extra
that you pay you get Touch of Death, which can be a huge bonus if it works.

- May 29th, 2004: Card released in Principalities.
- Jun 23rd, 2004: Card fixed to have ability trigger correctly.
- May 30th, 2005: Stats changed to 30/60 from 35/40. Ability changed to trigger 30% of the time instead of 20%. Card fixed to not have ability trigger 1% more often than it should.
- Aug 18th, 2007: Card fixed to have ability not trigger when zero damage is dealt due to Protect and "takes no damage until end of turn" abilities.
- Apr 17th, 2012: Ability changed to trigger 50% of the time instead of 30%.
