Mechanical Chaos

Mechanical Chaos is the fifth expansion to Cardmaster Conflict. Cards in this set are largely based on robots, space ships, and other technological and futuristic themes. All of the cards are bicolor or tricolor.
Mechanical Chaos introduces a slew of new mechanics into the game, including a whole new type of card: modifiers.
- Monster Counters: Some monsters use counters once reserved for effects.
- Spiked: Entities do not perform any automatic abilities, activated abilities, triggers, or constant abilities until the next sacrifice phase.
- Allying: Cards get additional abilities/features after fulfilling certain requirements.
- Power: Certain cards cannot function without this new "resource."
- Cloning: A card that can duplicate any entity in play, including unique entities.
- Face Down: With more entities that can be played down, the player's mana pool is concealed, with a theoretical amount displayed.
The Mechanical Chaos Mechanics Guide was created by webrunner to explain the new abilities when Mechanical Chaos was first released.
Its booster packs cost 800 points each, and contain 15 cards; 9 commons, 5 uncommons, and 1 rare.
