- Mana Explosion can be used as a pseudo-counterspell for anything which costs over 10 of any color of mana (the opponent will still retain the spell in their hand when it fails however).
- If you play one Mana Explosion and have another in your hand, you can spend

4 before playing the second one. This is a small advantage because your opponent will probably not have an opportunity to spend this mana. Both players will still end up with 101010.
- You can obtain this card by getting yourself massive amounts of mana in the game.
