Sometimes larger slimes have been known to don human armor to walk among the bipedal races. Occasionally it turns out to be magic armor. The dark slime mage Maginus found some ancient armor and is now among the world's most powerful mages.

• With the likes of Equip Weapon or a Shadow Stalker, Maginus is able to deal massive damage with each use of its sniping ability, and can reach the stage where it works like outright monster destruction.
