Holiday Spirit is an account started by Kid41088 on Christmas Eve of 2004, with the aim of giving rare cards to new and needy players. It works on donations from players. You may make requests for cards in this forum thread.

There's usually at least one member of Holiday Spirit on IRC, so feel free to check if you need your card and nobody is in the match maker.
Rules
Reservations
- You may make one reservation per calendar month.
- This reservation may consist of the following (or use lesser amounts than shown):
- 2 rares, 2 uncommons.
- 2 rares, 1 uncommon, 5 commons.
- 2 rares, 10 commons.
- 1 rare, 4 uncommons.
- 1 rare, 3 uncommons, 5 commons.
- 1 rare, 2 uncommons, 10 commons.
- 6 uncommons.
- 5 uncommons, 5 commons.
- 4 uncommons, 10 commons.
- Rares that we have 5 or less copies of count as your two rares for the month.
- Rares that we have 20 or more copies of may be reserved as though they were uncommons, however you may still only reserve a maximum of two of a single rare. Voucher and Event cards are excluded from this, and always count as rares no matter how many we have.
- Some cards appear on the rare lists below even though they aren't technically rares:
- Touch of Knowledge, Nova Crystal, Stone Orb, Onyx Ornament and Rainbow Altar are treated as rares, despite being uncommon.
- Voucher, Event and Secret cards are also treated as rares.
- Common cards are rarity 1-60, Uncommon cards are rarity 61-85, and Rare cards are rarity 86-100
General
- If a booster-available common/uncommon is not listed below, odds are we have tons in stock.
- If you aren't going to use the cards, please don't take them.
- At the end of each month, any reservation over two months old is void.
- You may reserve a card someone else has reserved: If the original reservation is cancelled or voided, it will automatically be reserved under your name.
- You may only change your reservation during the month in which it was made.
- Some cards, if donated, will be auctioned off to raise funds for more packs instead of given away as rares. These are detailed below.
- A player that hasn't played many games may receive a single New Player Pack. You may still make a reservation during a month that you receive a New Player Pack.
- Please spread the word of Holiday Spirit to other players!
Card List
New Player Packs
New Player Packs are to be given to new players with only a few games played. They will consist of 1 overstocked rare, 7 mana cards (basic or equivalent generators, MC generators, or sources) and 17 non-rares. These will be arbitrarily picked from Holiday Spirit's surpluses.

Super-Rares
We will be auctioning these off on the forums, to be sold to the highest bidder. Auctions will have a pre-determined end date. All points raised in this manner will be used to purchase booster packs to replenish stocks.
