Grey

From CMC Wiki

A man once said that "Grey is for all the cool stuff in CMC". That one person also said that it's "A lot like blue in M:tG".
Whether or not this is true, grey really is a color of shades. Shades in the meaning that it fades between Light and Dark, it has a neutral feel to it. If anything, it doesn't really have a certain binding ambience, no typical abilities whatsoever. It is also the color that represents money.

The stats, as they were originally meant to be, were set up so that attack and life were (approximately) equal. Good examples of this are the Golems, or the Slimes. Dark Elves are also very typical for grey, but they don't necessarily have equal stats. A good example of this is Kelar Warrior.

Grey cards also often have higher sac value. Neutral Charm and Mana Bucket each can sac for one additional mana, far better than the other two colors' Basic Generators and sources.

See Category:Grey for a list of grey cards.
