Card Details

• It cannot target entities without an activated ability (those without an ability speed).
• Entities affected by Graviton Sword are given the spiked status effect.
• Because the ability will not work if the targeted monster has no speed, it can be used to see through the confusion created by an opponent's ZFF-15 Mirage by attempting to use its ability on each of the facedown cards in turn until the ZFF-15 is found (and spiked, allowing you to attack it before it has the chance to move again)
• It is possible to use cards such as Silence and Electromagnetic Net on your own monsters to make them lose their activated abilities, in order to prevent Graviton Sword from suppressing their passive abilities.

• Oct 20th, 2006: Card released in Mechanical Chaos.
• Nov 1st, 2006 : Card fixed to not cost 11 on use, and to target entities instead of effects.
• Feb 14th, 2007: Spiked status effect fixed to not disappear on the opponent's sacrifice phase.
• Jun 8th, 2009: Spiked status effect fixed to remove Focus.
