Card Details

• He is the effect-restoring equivalent, and arch-nemesis, of Abrasis Mindlef.
• He has monster synergies with Assistant to Abrasis, who can undizzy Doctor Bakuga, and Bakugabot, who can gain lifepoints with Doctor Bakuga in play.
• Doctor Bakuga can be used to bring back effects with a sac value of more than 5 to sacrifice to gain extra mana, such as Golden Idol.
• If you intend to use Doctor Bakuga to bring back effects to sacrifice, another good choice is Dr Amp. He'll let you get effects in and out during any phase, let you draw cards, and can also benefit from the Assistants to Abrasis.
• He is able to raise the Khrimalith on the opponent's Attack Resolution to destroy an effect and a monster, and then sacrifice it for mana, without requiring Dark Lord Khrima.
• Can be used with Holy Beacons to continuously steal the opponent's effects.
• With methods of discarding, such as Mutual Disarmament or Karashi (War), effects can be restored to play without having been played in the first place.
