Burning Energies

The powering of strength by expelling ones own lifesource are the dark powers' bread and butter (rancid as they may be). Burning Energies exemplifies this by ripping your own life energy from your body, twisting it, and infusing it in a monster.

Card Details
- Burning Energies gives a monster a temporary statgain equal to its current attack and life.
- As this works the same as other cards that give temporary stats, the stats are not halved at the end of turn, as the word doubled in the ability text might imply. The stats lost will be equal to the stats gained (assuming no damage etc).

- May 30th, 2005: Card changed to give temporary stats equal to the target's current stats instead of only temporary attack equal to the current attack.
- Aug 2nd, 2005: Card changed to have temporary life be lost first when damage is taken instead of base life being lost first. Card fixed to not be flagged as available. Expansion symbol changed to Donation from Event.
- Aug 21st, 2005: Card given a failure cost of 50 life.
- Feb 27th, 2006: Card made available as a Donation for $10.
- Feb 13th, 2007: Card fixed to include temporary life when calculating spillover damage.
