Card Details

  • The transformations at the start and end of your turn fully restore Boardroom Avenger's attack and life, as well as undizzying him and removing any status effects.
  • As such, cards that deplete your monsters attack or life, such as Radioactive Battery, Battery of Souls, and Soul Taker, can be used on him repeatably without any lasting loss.
  • It can attack and still be available for defending during the opponent's turn, which can be useful for extra damage if there's nothing to block him, or against monsters that can't kill him in one hit.
  • In superhero mode he can take out weenies from weenie rush decks ad infinitum, and can trade with most 6 mana beatsticks of all colors.
  • Note that when he is a superhero, he is also a hero and has all the synergy/antisynergy assosiated from them.
  • When used as a defensive monster in a stall deck, the card stealing ability can be very useful, though expensive and random.
  • Makes for an ideal defender when used with Plateau of Shades. He can be played after the location is already out, and his transformation will remove the Fleeting.
  • Due to his ability undizzying him every turn, Boardroom Avenger is doubly useful when used with cards which dizzy your own monsters, such as Spacobs or Time Waster.
