Card Details
- Card art was done by Leander.
- Having both Speed Summon and Can't Attack allows Angel Protector to defend the round that it's brought into play.
- Token Angel Protectors can be created by the ability of Angel Trumpet.
- This card does half of what Abandoned Fortress does, which is used more often because generally locations are easier to sustain than monsters.
- The advantage it gains in being a monster however, is that it doesn't help both players.
- If the Angel Protector itself is the blocker its ability does not reduce spillover damage (as it is not alive at the time the spillover occurs).
- Similarly, due to the order that monsters take damage in, if Angel Protector dies in combat, only the spillover from defenders to the left of the Angel Protector is reduced. [needs testing]
- If multiple Angel Protectors are in play they stack as a multiplier: two Angel Protectors result in taking 1/4 damage, as opposed to if they both took off half, which would result in no damage.
